This book was published in 1986 by Bell & Hyman, London. It has 128 pages and was priced £6.95. It contains a short introduction to the most important machine knitting techniques and instructions for 40 different machine-knit garments. Four of them are for children, three each for men and unisex, the main proportion is for women. There are sweaters and tops, cardigans, some accessories and even complete three-piece outfits (skirt, sweater, cardi). The pattern techniques are suitable for the then popular japanese machines (Brother, Knitmaster, Toyota), there are Fair Isle, tuck, lace and weaving patterns as well as plain knitting. The garments shown are for standard and chunky machines.
